Sport is undergoing a wholesale revolution. You can discover a wealth of content through SportsPro channels to help you understand this changing market. However, to date there has been nothing in our industry that focuses on how senior leaders change their businesses at pace. That’s where the SportsPro Playbook comes in.

Matt Rogan, Senior Contributor at SportsPro & Playbook Labs Lead
Developing people has always been close to my heart. I’ve taught groups of varying sizes and ages – from teaching Shakespeare in German schools to building and delivering leadership programmes for Coca-Cola, Visa, BT and Lloyds Banking Group as a board director at management consultancy Lane4. That’s when the Two Circles adventure began.
The Two Circles journey took us to the cutting edge of sport, from our kitchen table to helping the biggest six sporting events in the world remodel their organisations.
Sport’s defining decade ahead will be one of action and impact on a global level, not a parochial view of times past. The future is right and left brain. Art and science. Hearts and minds. Three bottom lines, not one.
I now focus the majority of my time on what I feel I do best – helping leaders navigate these choppy waters. I do that as a non-executive director, board advisor and mentor to a small number of senior leaders in sport. Working with SportsPro enables me to provide that support at scale, as leading any business can be a very lonely place. Playbook Labs is the culmination of a year’s research into the specific support leaders in our industry need to move forward. Welcome aboard.
