Wasserman acquires Brillstein Entertainment Partners

Agency says purchase adds strong entertainment management and content vertical to businesses.

Agency giant Wasserman has acquired entertainment management and production company Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Confirmed:

  • Brillstein co-chief executives Cynthia Pett and Jon Liebman will join Wasserman’s executive leadership team while continuing to lead Brillstein
  • Brillstein’s managers across all departments will stay with the company as it joins Wasserman

Context:

Brillstein becomes the latest acquisition for Wasserman, which has recently bought CSM Sport & Entertainment, The Montag Group and Esportif among other companies.

Comment:

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Cynthia, Jon, Sandy [Wernick], Marc [Gurvitz] and the entire Brillstein family and roster to our fold,” said Casey Wasserman (pictured aboe), Wasserman chairman and chief executive.

“They join our company as we continue to expand the breadth and depth of our capabilities to serve clients globally in unique and innovative ways.”
