US Soccer has agreed a multi-year partnership with the Sportfive agency to help the national governing body grow its media presence internationally.
- Sportfive to secure international media rights deals across TV and digital platforms for US Soccer teams, including the men’s and women’s national sides
- Agency to also sell rights for the SheBelieves Cup and the US Open Cup to territories outside the US
US Soccer joins an extensive list of sports organisations to partner with Sportfive, including the United Soccer League (USL), French top-flight rugby union outfit Stade Francais and the National Football League’s (NFL) Kansas City Chiefs.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Sportfive as we continue to increase the accessibility and reach for fans everywhere to support our US national teams,” said US Soccer chief commercial officer David Wright.
“In addition, the opportunity to provide more access for fans globally to enjoy the US Open Cup, SheBelieves Cup, and other US Soccer properties is an important step forward in our continued media evolution.”
Sportfive will work to secure rights deals for US Soccer, with global interest in the US national women’s soccer team expected to surge during this summer’s 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup.
