Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight Alistair Overeem has signed a new personal endorsement deal with F3 Nutrition.
In signing with the Florida-based nutrition brand, the former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion, Dream Heavyweight Champion and K-1 World Grand Prix Champion joins fellow UFC superstars Vitor Belfort and Eddie Alvarez on F3 Nutrition's expanding sponsorship roster.
Despite currently being unable to compete in the UFC owing to a failed drugs test on April 4th 2012, Overeem is likely to earn himself a shot at the UFC heayweight title when he is able to reapply for a Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) license in December 2012.
“With a UFC heavyweight title fight in the works, now is the right time for Alistair Overeem to sign on with F3's Nutrition programme,” said F3 Nutrition president Mark Post. “He takes his supplementation programme very serious, and with his input, we created a regimen that improves his effectiveness while allowing him to maintain his, weight, size and speed. The team here at F3 Nutrition looks forward to working with 'The Reem' and watching him become the new UFC heavyweight champion in the coming year.”

Overeem is represented by Florida-based sports marketing agency Authentic Sports Management (ASM) and president Glenn Robinson.
