This is the latest women’s soccer rights deal agreed by Eurovision Sport, the sports arm of the EBU, having secured the rights to this summer’s 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup for its members in 28 countries.
“As world leaders in the broadcast and streaming of women’s sport, we believe that both the competition and football fans will benefit from the expert coverage and free-to-air exposure that our members guarantee,” said Stefan-Eric Wildemann, Eurovision Sport’s head of football.
The agreement will boost the reach of the Women’s Champions League final, which takes place on 3rd June between Barcelona and Wolfsburg.
