Multiple sports: Queensland-based Moreton Hire has been appointed as the official supplier of marquee and temporary structures for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, which will be taking place in Australia from 4th to 15th April.

Golf: Smartphone brand ZTE has renewed as a sponsor of golf's RBC Canadian Open for three years until the end of 2019. The agreement was confirmed ahead of last week's edition of the PGA Tour event, which carried a purse of US$6 million and was won by Jhonattan Vegas.

Also in golf: Fit-out firm Marcon has agreed to sponsor and build temporary hospitality and retail structures for the Northern Ireland Open, an event on golf's second-tier European Challenge Tour which will take place at Galgorm Castle in Ballymena from 10th to 13th August.

Gymnastics: The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has confirmed that the Russian city of St Petersburg will host the 2018 Gymnastics Trampoline World Championships, with the Japanese capital of Tokyo staging the 2019 event.

Rugby: Second-tier English rugby union side Doncaster Knights have agreed a sponsorship deal with beer brand Tetley's, whose logo will appear on the front of the team's playing shirts in the 2017/18 Championship season.

Motorcycling: Electric motorcycle company Alta Motors has agreed a deal with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) to sponsor the AMA Endurocross series, which features seven events from 19th August to 18th November.
