Familia Camarena Tequila has extended its marketing and sponsorship agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB) side San Francisco Giants.

The deal, which takes the partnership into its third consecutive year, is the second to be announced this week by the tequila brand. Yesterday the company confirmed a renewal of its agreement with the Giants’ rival Californian MLB side, the Los Angeles Angels.

"Familia Camarena Tequila is pleased to continue a third year of partnership with the San Francisco Giants," said Gerard Thoukis, director of marketing for Familia Camarena. "In setting an all-time single season franchise attendance record in 2011, AT&T Park is a destination for locals and visitors alike, providing a beneficial marketing platform for Familia Camarena Tequila as we continue to expand our local and national presence."

Jason Pearl, managing vice president of sponsorship and new business development for the San Francisco Giants, added: "We are pleased to continue our relationship with Familia Camarena Tequila. We look forward to a winning 2012 season, and the continued success of our two brands."
