At a time when the National Basketball Association (NBA) is currently in lockout, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman is the latest National Football League (NFL) player to sign with apparel brand Team Jordan.
Financial details of the 23-year-old's personal endorsement deal with the Team Jordan brand were not released.
An official statement on the company’s website reads:
'We’re bringing in another rising star to Team Jordan with the addition of Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman. At only 23, Josh has already started 33 games, connected on 42 touchdowns and thrown for over 7,000 yards. With each game his skills become more refined. At 6’6”, Josh has the size to survey the field, but is also an agile playmaker whose versatile style presents a serious challenge to the opposing D. This year he’s led Tampa Bay to a 4-3 record as they battle for the top spot in the NFC South division.'
Needless to say, the future is bright for this young gun. Welcome to the Team Jordan fam, Josh.
Other NFL players currently on the Nike-subsidiary's books include Andre Johnson, LaMarr Woodley, Dwight Freeney, Michael Crabree and Jason Taylor.
