Organisers of the FIA GT and Blancpain Endurance Series have announced a wide range of TV rights deals for the 2013 season.
The headline agreement confirmed by SRO Motorsports, which promotes both championships, is 'unprecedented and extensive' coverage on free-to-air German channel RTL and its sister station RTL Nitro.
RTL will broadcast highlight packages of several races immediately before its coverage of Formula One qualifying sessions throughout the year, with RTL Nitro set to broadcast live coverage of up to four GT races.
SRO also announced SporTV Globo will deliver live coverage of the FIA GT races in Brazil this year. Deals have also been confirmed 'with several major channels' in Belgium and Motors TV in the UK, while 'strong coverage' is anticipated in France, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, UK, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Coverage will also be available in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, USA and Canada with pan-regional coverage provided by Bloomberg throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Eurovision WorldFeed's services will be utilised for news clips from the series.
The FIA GT Series is schedule to begin on 1st April in Nogoro, France, with the Blancpain Endurance Series beginning two weeks later at Monza in Italy.
