Japanese archery equipment manufacturer Shibuya Archery has signed a deal with World Archery to become a development fund partner of the sport's international governing body.

The company, which is renowned for the quality of its target sights, will have a strong presence at the Archery World Cup Final, due to be held in September in Tokyo.

The deal, which sees Shibuya join a pool of other manufacturers in World Archery's development fund programme, coincides with the company's 40th anniversary.

"We are excited about this opportunity to help grow our sport of archery, and we are sure we will be able to ensure a mutually rewarding relationship with World Archery," said Shibuya spokesman Philipp Knall.
