Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) has signed a share purchase agreement for a 21.67 per cent stake in Portuguese top-flight soccer club SC Braga.
The deal is expected to close in the next few months, subject to certain closing conditions.
SC Braga finished fourth in the Primeira Liga last season and are currently third in the table this campaign after nine games.
QSI is best known as the owner of French soccer champions Paris Saint-Germain and its other sporting outlays includes investing in the International Padel Federation (FIP) to create the new Premier Padel tour.
