Championship club Reading FC, relegated from the Premier League last season, have confirmed The Legend Alliance as a sponsor for the 2013/14 season.

The data company's logo will appear on the team's shorts all season. It is the second deal secured by Reading in the last two weeks, following a tie-up with Formula One team Marussia which was signed at the British Grand Prix.

Craig Stimson, the head of sales and marketing at The Legend Alliance, said: “We're passionate about our brand and seeing the branding and logo out there on the back of the Reading shorts will really be fantastic.”

Reading chairman Sir John Madejeski added: “This is a really exciting deal and shows just what can be done. It's the first time that we have had a short sponsor in the history of Reading Football Club, and I really appreciate the skill of our departments to take up these opportunities.”
