Italian public service broadcaster Rai has agreed a sub-licensing deal with Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for rights to the summer and winter Olympic Games from 2026 to 2032.
Contract:
- Rai secures free-to-air (FTA) TV and digital rights, as well as the non-exclusive radio rights, for the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics
- Agreement also covers Los Angeles 2028, Brisbane 2032 and the 2030 Winter Olympics
