The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) has announced that media platform Just Women’s Sports (JWS) will continue to distribute official game highlights and content for the league’s 2023 season.
- JWS to distribute official content across its digital and social platforms
- Pre-game show ‘The Warm-Up’ to return for the NWSL Championship
- Expanded coverage aiming to drive fan interest and engagement, as well as opening up revenue opportunities through content monetisation.
This marks the second season in which the NWSL has partnered with JWS. Last year, the platform recorded more than 46 million social impressions and five million video views across social platforms throughout the NWSL Championship weekend. JWS also distributed over 1,000 content pieces and highlights during the 2022 NWSL season, which reached more than 30 million fans.
“Last year was a leap for Just Women’s Sports and the NWSL, and we saw exponential growth in our audiences, engagement, and interest,” said Haley Rosen, founder and chief executive of JWS.
“We’re excited to deepen our relationship with the NWSL and continue to showcase and elevate the incredible athletes in the league.”
The NWSL gained a record average attendance for its opening round of games last weekend, and will aim to continue increasing interest in the league on social platforms with this renewed partnership.
