YouTube has teamed up with US gambling brand FanDuel to provide a limited-time promotional offer for the National Football League’s (NFL) Sunday Ticket out-of-market package.
Confirmed:
- Between 21st August and 18th September, new FanDuel sportsbook customers who place a US$5 bet will receive US$200 in bonus bets and US$100 off NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV
- Existing FanDuel customers who bet US$5 will receive US$100 off NFL Sunday Ticket
- FanDuel to also launch ‘FanDuel Explore’ betting product for fans
Context:
The NFL confirmed Google-owned YouTube as the home of Sunday Ticket last December, with the deal reportedly worth between US$2 billion and US$2.5 billion per year. Google has also entered partnerships with both Verizon and Warner Bros Discovery to make the package available as part of various bundles.
