DirecTV has struck a multi-year agreement with EverPass Media to provide the National Football League’s  (NFL) Sunday Ticket out-of-market package to commercial businesses.

Contract:

  • Out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on CBS and Fox will continue to be available to restaurants, bars, hotels and other businesses that have DirecTV for Business
  • Deal kicks in from 2023 NFL season
  • Agreement does not apply to DirecTV’s residential customers

Context:

DirecTV for Business also offers Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Season Pass all-game subscription product, as well as Amazon Prime Video’s coverage of the NFL’s Thursday Night Football. The agreement with EverPass comes after its launch in March by the NFL and RedBird Capital Partners to distribute the Sunday Ticket out-of-market package to commercial establishments.

Coming next:

DirecTV’s network of more than 300,000 commercial venues can look forward to broadcasting Sunday Ticket when the 2023 NFL season kicks off in September.
