Bayern Munich soccer star Jerome Boateng has signed a personal endorsement deal with Harman.

The 26-year-old defender, a Fifa World Cup winner with Germany last year, will serve as a brand ambassador for Harman and JBL headphones and audio products. He will appear in worldwide promotional campaigns alongside entertainment figures like Quincy Jones and AR Rahman.

“There is a very powerful connection between sports and music that drives cultural relevance, one of our key branding goals,” said Harman chief marketing officer Ralph Santana. “Jerome’s status as a champion, role model, icon and music fan is authentic, and we are excited to develop programmes together that will engage those who love sports and music.”
