The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Nashville Predators have signed a multi-year partnership that designates BetMGM as their official sports betting partner.
The deal provides the betting company with signage throughout the franchise’s Bridgestone Arena home, as well as opening of a BetMGM-branded restaurant at the venue’s suite level in the future.
The Predators join the National Football League’s (NFL) Tennessee Titans in BetMGM’s partnership portfolio, with the betting brand looking to use local sports teams to bolster its presence in a state where mobile gambling was legalised in 2020.
Sean Henry, Predators president and chief executive, said: “We are always looking for ways to enhance Smashville and bring a better experience to the best fans in sports.
“Integrating an industry leader like BetMGM into our building is a tremendous opportunity and we hope to continue to grow our partnership in the years to come.”
BetMGM is a league-wide partner of the NHL in both the US and Canada after expanding its agreement earlier this year following Ontario’s new gambling legislation to allow sports betting outside of parlays and horse racing.
“The Predators are a tremendous organisation with one of the sport’s most passionate fanbases,” added Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer of BetMGM.
“We look forward to our partnership with the team and the opportunity to elevate Nashville’s gameday experience.”
The gambling company’s expansive partnership portfolio across US major sports also includes the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs, Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise the Cincinnati Reds, the New York Knicks in the National Basketball Association, the NHL’s New York Rangers and golf’s the PGA Tour.
