The Volvo Ocean Race has appointed Jon Bramley as communications director and Olivier Brémont as commercial director.
Bramley joins from Thomson Reuters, where he held the positions of global sports news editor and deputy sports editor. He has worked on the last five Olympic Games for Reuters, working on the last four of them as desk head. Prior to this, he was the assistant sports editor for the Sunday Mirror.
Brémont leaves the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), where he was the vice president of business development and strategy, to join the Volvo Ocean Race team. He has previously worked for Uefa and for Adidas International.
