Mobivity goes Wild for mobile fan engagement

Mobile marketing specialists Mobivity have entered into partnership with the Minnesota Wild National Hockey League (NHL) franchise.

Mobile marketing specialists Mobivity have entered into partnership with the Minnesota Wild National Hockey League (NHL) franchise.

Mobivity will work with the Wild to enhance fan engagement through the implementation of an online mobile marketing platform, as well as in-stadium graphics for live polling and interaction at home games.

“We are excited to enter into this partnership with Mobivity, and to increase the amount and quality of brand engagement our fans experience over the next three years,” said Mitch Helgerson of Minnesota Sports and Entertainment.

“Mobivity is allowing us to have direct contact with our fans where they focus most, and we look forward to increasing attendance and fan loyalty as well as grow within the mobile space with Mobivity for years to come.”

Michael Falato, the senior vice president of sales and business development at Mobivity, added: “Mobivity looks forward to seeing the Minnesota Wild succeed in the mobile marketing field, and we can't wait to foster a successful and results-based relationship with the organisation over the next three years.”

Mobivity also partners another NHL team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, as well as a host of other sporting organisations.
