Miami Dolphins’ Ajayi becomes New Era ambassador

London-born NFL player to promote brand across EMEA region.

National Football League (NFL) player Jay Ajayi has become a brand ambassador for New Era across the EMEA region.

The London-born Miami Dolphins running back, who appeared in this year’s Pro Bowl, will work with the sports and lifestyle brand to design a range of signature caps, which will go on sale later this year.

Supported by a short promotional film, the caps will be released ahead of the Dolphins’ game against the New Orleans Saints at London’s Wembley Stadium on 1st October.

Under the terms of the deal, Ajayi will wear New Era caps exclusively throughout the course of the partnership and will support the company, both in person and via social media, for product launches throughout the coming NFL season.

Ajayi, 24, previously worked with New Era Europe on its marketing activities around February’s Super Bowl in Houston.

“The opportunity to combine my sense of style and London roots with the craftsmanship and quality of New Era is truly an honour,” said Ajayi. “I’m thrilled to be a part of the New Era team and even more so for fans to see the limited-edition caps that we designed together.”
