Major sponsor for Algerian soccer

Cevital, an Algerian food manufacturer specialising in vegetable oil, white sugar and margarine, has signed a sponsorship deal with the Algerian soccer federation (FAF).

Cevital, an Algerian food manufacturer specialising in vegetable oil, white sugar and margarine, has signed a sponsorship deal with the Algerian soccer federation (FAF).

The deal will last until the end of 2009 and will involve Cevital spending almost US$560,000 on the national soccer team as well as on providing vehicles, supplied by Hyundai, to soccer clubs around the country.

Mohamed Raouraoua, president of the FAF, said of Issas Rebrab, managing director at Cevital, “He is a great captain of national industry, a man who does a lot for his country. I would like to thank him for the help he has given to sport and to the youth.

Cevital joins mobile telecommunications operator Nedjma and press agency Echourouk as a sponsor of the Algerian soccer federation.
