Liverpool go all in with 1xBet

European soccer champions pen multi-year global betting deal.

English soccer giants Liverpool have agreed a multi-year partnership with international gaming and technology company 1xBet.

The deal makes 1xBet the Premier League club’s official global betting partner, providing fans with exclusive offers and other entertainment options.

In return, 1xBet will benefit from in-stadium branding at Anfield, the home of the European champions, and across their digital platforms.

The deal, which comes after BetVictor’s three-year relationship with the club expired, also grants 1xBet access to Liverpool’s first-team players and club legends for activations. No figures have been reported in relation to 1xBet’s contract but BetVictor paid in the region of UK£8 million annually, although that did include sponsorship of the club’s training kit.

“We are delighted to welcome 1xBet to Liverpool FC as our newest partner,” said Billy Hogan, Liverpool’s managing director and chief commercial officer. “I know that their games and special offers will appeal to our fans around the world and we look forward to seeing these as we go into the new 2019/20 season.”

The announcement comes just one week after 1xBet, which is already present across Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, signed a five-year deal to become a global partner of La Liga champions Barcelona.

“Liverpool FC is one of the world's most iconic football clubs with a wealth of history and a huge global fanbase,” added Alex Sommers, a spokesman for 1xBet. “We're incredibly excited to be partnering with the club to meet our goal of bringing fans closer to the sporting action through our innovative products and supercharged betting experience.

“We're very proud of the relationship we have with Liverpool Football Club and we're keen to work closely with fans around the world to bring them exciting entertainment opportunities and unique offers in the upcoming season.”
