French soccer’s top-flight Ligue 1 has partnered with sports marketing agency rEvolution to expand its presence in the US.
- Ligue 1 to develop and roll out a creative campaign focused on promoting the league
- France’s top tier aims to increase exposure, establish strategic partnerships and enhance awareness of the competition in the US market
This partnership marks a major move in the US for the Professional Football League’s (LFP) commercial subsidiary LFP Media, which was formed last year and is backed by private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
“Ligue 1 Uber Eats is thrilled to embark on this journey of growth in the US market,” said Ben Morel, LFP Media chief executive.
“This partnership is a first steppingstone in our ambition to connect with American fans in an authentic way, showcasing our unique blend of competition, clubs, culture, and commitment to nurturing young talent.”
Both parties will now work on a new marketing strategy promoting Ligue 1 in the States.
