The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Los Angeles Lakers have announced recently launched Cincoro Tequila as an official sponsor.
The deal will see the Lakers help to drive awareness of the tequila brand through in-arena signage at Staples Center and various hospitality events throughout the year.
Cincoro Tequila was co-founded in September this year by Lakers’ controlling owner Jeanie Buss, alongside several other NBA team owners, including Wes Edens of the Milwaukee Bucks, Wyc Grousbeck from the Boston Celtics and Michael Jordan of the Charlotte Hornets.
“We are very excited to welcome Cincoro to the team as a new sponsor,” said Tim Harris, the Lakers’ president of business operations. “This is a great opportunity for the organisation to work with an exciting new brand and we look forward to a successful future together.”
The LA Lakers remain top of the NBA’s Western Conference despite losing just their third game of the season on Sunday. They face the Denver Nuggets in their next fixture on 3rd December.
