Jason Day signs Full Swing and Zurich Insurance partnerships

Insurer’s logo will appear on the golfer’s bag.

Australian golfer Jason Day has signed a new three-year sponsorship deal with Zurich Insurance. The expansion of their relationship will see the insurance companies’ logo appear on Day’s golf bag.

The agreement will also see the golfer feature in a range of marketing campaigns while also attending a series of customer-focused events for Zurich.

“I’m thrilled to expand my relationship with Zurich,” said Day. “I’ve enjoyed spending time with their leadership and customers over the years and they are great supporters of the game of golf globally.”

The PGA Tour recently announced a series of format changes to the 2017 Zurich Classic, introducing a new format featuring 80 two-man teams. Day will partner with American Rickie Fowler in the upcoming tournament in New Orleans in April.

Meanwhile, the world number one golfer will install a US$49,900 Full Swing S8 Series golf simulator in his Ohio home thanks to his newly signed multi-year partnership with the simulator company. The Australian joins world number five Jordan Spieth and former number one Tiger Woods as Full Swing ambassadors.
