Second-tier German soccer side Holstein Kiel have confirmed sportswear brand Puma as their new kit supplier.

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, the Puma will equip the 2. Bundesliga team with their match day kits, training wear and off-pitch accessories, which will be made available to fans as replicas. The German manufacturer will, in addition, provide Kiel’s backroom staff with apparel.

Puma – which previously supplied Kiel between 1978 and 1981 – replaces rival German manufacturer Adidas, which had been the club’s kit provider since the 1994/95 season.

Holstein Kiel finished second in the 2016/17 3. Liga table and gained promotion to German soccer’s second-tier for the first time since 1981.
