The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) has announced media intelligence service Isentia as the latest official supplier to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).

The Australian company will be the official media monitoring service of the quadrennial multi-sport event, whose next edition runs from 4th to 15th April next year. “Isentia’s unique partnership with GOLDOC embodies our mission to discover and share insights that drive smarter decisions,” said Sean Smith, chief executive of media intelligence at Isentia. “We’re proud to be working with GOLDOC and excited to use our world leading media intelligence services to help make GC2018, which is the largest sporting event in Australia this decade, a world class event.”

Russ Horell, Isentia’s Queensland state manager, added: “By interpreting data from over 5,000 mainstream media outlets, 55,000 news sources and 3.4 million user-generated content sources across 12 languages, Isentia is ideally placed to empower GOLDOC to make more informed and timely communication decisions related to the organisation’s objectives.”
