GAC signs South African golfer George Coetzee

2011 South African PGA Championship winner George Coetzee has been unveiled as a brand ambassador for logistics and marine services provider GAC.

2011 South African PGA Championship winner George Coetzee has been unveiled as a brand ambassador for logistics and marine services provider GAC.

Under terms of the personal endorsement agreement, financial details of which were not released, the 25-year-old South African golfer will make appearances at GAC organised events and community initiatives and sport the GAC logo on his chest in all competitions throughout the duration of the deal's tenure.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome George to the GAC team and we look forward to the boost our brand will receive through our association with him during the year ahead," said Stuart Bowie GAC Dubai managing director. "George’s dedication to his game and pursuit of sporting excellence is a real credit to him and it reflects GAC’s approach to business, always striving to deliver the best results for our shipping and logistics customers. Golf’s global popularity mirrors our own global network of services.”

Coetzee added, “I’m delighted to start the 2012 season with the support of a globally renowned organisation like GAC. I look forward to achieving all I can with its support on the coming European and Sunshine Tours, as well as playing my part in customer and community activities off the course in my role as GAC brand Aambassador.”
