The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) second-tier G League has extended and expanded its streaming partnership with Twitch, the esports-focused live video platform.

Last year Twitch aired G League matches and allowed partners and affiliates to co-stream with their own commentary. Under the terms of the new deal, all streamers on Twitch will now be able to take up the co-streaming option for every G League game available on the platform across Fridays and Saturdays.

Twitch is providing a dedicated commentary-free broadcast for all users to provide their followers with an alternative take on G League games via their own channel with greater interaction.

The Amazon-owned platform has also added new features to its official G League extension that provides in-game streamers with expanded overlay, real-time player, team, and game stats, as well as a ticker for scores around the league. It also sees those co-streamers accrue points for follower numbers and making correct performance predictions to power a leaderboard ranking.

The extension also includes a Twitch MVP vote for every match which sees the winning player interviewed on the court after the game.
