Motorsport: The Bommarito Automotive Group has become the title sponsor of the inaugural Indycar race at the Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois. The two-year deal is worth US$1 million, according to the St Louis business journal. The first Bommarito Automotive Group 500 will take place on 26th August.

Soccer: Australian soccer club Perth Glory have agreed a short-term sposnorship deal with Nicheliving. The property group's logo will appear on the A-League team's sleeve for the remainder of the 2016/17 season.

Rugby: Canadian rugby league team Toronto Wolfpack have agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with Air Transat. The airline will provide transatlantic round trips to the side, who will play in English rugby league's third tier from March, and to their opponents, while also creating travel packages for fans. In addition, the Air Transat logo will appear on the front and back of the Wolfpack's playing shirts.

Basketball: Italy's Lega Basket Serie A has agreed a partnership with sports nutrition brand Prozis for the remainder of the 2016/17 season.

Lacrosse: The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) collegiate conference has agreed a broadcast deal with the specialist Lax Sports Network for its men's and women's lacrosse competitions.
