Fox Sports renews NFL rights in Latin America

New package includes return of Thursday Night Football.

US-based broadcaster Fox Sports has announced the renewal of its rights deal for the National Football League (NFL) in Latin America.

The new package covers the next four NFL seasons, featuring over 100 games in total, including Sunday's regular season games and the return to the Latin American market of Thursday Night Football.

Fox Sports will also show the international game between the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams at Twickenham Stadium in London as well as all post-season games, the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl.

Viewers in Latin America will be able to access Fox Sports' NFL content through its pay-TV channel as well as its digital platforms online and on mobile devices.

“We are very excited that our new agreement allows Fox Sports to take our coverage to an even higher level and provide NFL fans with the most engaging and comprehensive NFL coverage in Latin America,” said Francisco Pazmiño, senior vice president of acquisition and content strategy for Fox Sports Latin America. “We are proud to retain our position as the home of the most live NFL games each week in the region.”
