National Football League (NFL) franchise Pittsburgh Steelers has announced that FedEx will replace Coca-Cola as the title sponsor of the Great Hall, the area of Heinz Field that serves as a tribute to the history of the Steelers.
Under terms of the ten-year partnership, which is effective immediately, the US logistics company will rename the entire length of the east side of the 65,000-capacity Heinz Field as FedEx Great Hall.
Financial terms of FedEx's long-term naming rights agreement were not released.
“We are excited to have FedEx expand our partnership as the key sponsor of the Great Hall,” said Steelers president Art Rooney II. “FedEx is one of the world’s most respected brands. Given their commitment to the Steelers and the region, we are pleased to extend our partnership to include the FedEx Great Hall.”
