German sports streaming platform S Nation has announced that it is rebranding as Dyn Media going forward.

The joint venture founded by former German Football League (DFL) chief executive Christian Seifert and publishing house Axel Springer was launched in February this year, with a focus on aggregating rights to lower-tier domestic properties.

The full rollout of the Dyn Media product is set to launch in July 2023, with the official rebrand to take place on 15th October as the company’s new website goes live.

Dyn has already secured digital rights deals with a number of properties, including the Handball Bundesliga (HBL), Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) and the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL), which will all kick in next year.

“The brand Dyn sits well with our mission and values,” said Andreas Heyden, the media company’s new chief executive.

He added: “Our employees will invest all their energy to ensure that our partner leagues beyond professional soccer in Germany are given the status they deserve.”
