Chicago Bulls net multi-year Motorola jersey patch deal

The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Chicago Bulls have signed a multi-year jersey patch agreement with technology hardware brand Motorola Mobility.

The new partnership, which was brokered by Klutch Sports Group, will see Motorola’s logo feature on the Bulls playing jerseys from the start of the 2022/23 NBA season. 

As a global partner and the Bulls’ exclusive smartphone, the Chicago-based company will also gain inventory across the franchise’s digital assets, as well as at their United Center home.

Motorola has a number of jersey patch deals in the US major leagues, including active partnerships with the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers in the NBA. The brand is also set appear on San Diego Padres uniforms from the start of the 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) season and has been a previous jersey sponsor of the Brooklyn Nets.

“The Bulls and Motorola both have a strong connection to our shared hometown of Chicago, which played a role in establishing the foundation for our relationship,” said Michael Reinsdorf, Chicago Bulls president and chief operating officer.

“We have worked together in the past, and it is exciting to see us take this significant step into a new, expanded partnership that will have local, national and global reach.”
