Buffalo Wild Wings bags NCAA extension

Chain also signs up extensions to 23 college athletics program.

Fast food chain Buffalo Wild Wings has extended its major sponsorship of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and has signed new deals with 23 separate college athletics programs.

The Minnesota-based company has signed a four-year renewal with the NCAA, which will see it sponsor all events under the NCAA umbrella, up to college basketball’s 2019 Final Four, which will be held at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The deal with the 23 athletic programmes, agreed via Learfield Sports and IMG will see the company receive branding at events held by the universities, which include Alabama, Miami, North Carolina, UCLA, Duke and the University of Texas. Buffalo Wild Wings will also become an official supplier of each athletics programme.
