The organisers of the Breeders' Cup World Championships have signed a deal with Calumet Farm that will see the Lexington, Kentucky-based entity become an offical farm partner of the thoroughbred racing event.

Calumet is based next to the Keeneland racecourse in Lexington, which will host the 2015 Breeders' Cup on 30th and 31st October this year.

As part of the multi-year deal, the thoroughbred training and breeding farm will receive a media package of television, print, digital and on-site advertising rights. Its stallions and progeny will also be identified via on-screen graphics during telecasts.

Calumet joins fellow local breeding operations Claiborne Farm, Coolmore Stud, Lane's End, Three Chimneys Farm, and WinStar Farm as an official farm partner of the event.

“Calumet joins a very prominent group of farm partners who have made a significant commitment to be a part of 2015 Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland and for Central Kentucky,” said Craig Fravel, Breeders’ Cup president and chief executive. “Calumet has enjoyed a rich tradition of remarkable success on the racetrack and in the breeding shed as one of America’s most storied thoroughbred farms. We welcome their expanded participation in this year’s championships.”
