Second-tier English soccer side Bolton Wanderers FC have signed a three-year sponsorship deal with electrical and mechanical engineering company SPIE.

As part of the deal, SPIE worked on the refurbishment of the media suite at Bolton's Macron Stadium. Its Facilities Services division installed a new, energy-efficient lighting scheme, new flooring, a fresh media desk area and a bespoke, raised manager’s desk.

SPIE's branding will be visible on the backdrop of manager interviews until 2017 and the company will also have advertising space in the club's matchday programmes.

“SPIE was the only partner for this project,” explained Bolton's facilities co-ordinator Jenni Grant. “We wanted to work with a supplier that had a strong local presence and could offer a specialist range of services, from electrical installation to facilities management.

“SPIE continues to work with the club beyond this refit, carrying out barrier and turnstile maintenance at our stadium and training ground.”

Bolton currently sit 21st in the Championship after 18 games of the 2014/15 season.
