BMW Germany has extended its sponsorship of the Munich Marathon for a further three years.
The car manufacturer will continue as the lead sponsor and vehicle supplier of the event, which celebrated its 25th edition earlier this year. BMW will make 15 cars available to event organisers, along with bicycles and motorcycles, and will have a presence on all communication platforms for the race.
BMW is also a sponsor of the marathons in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Cologne, as well as the Munich 2018 bid to host the Olympic Winter Games. The Munich Marathon will be run for the 26th time on 9th October 2011.
