Big3 to play games in London for first time

2023 Championship Game and All-Star match to be held at O2 Arena on 26th August.

The Big3 will play its 2023 season’s Championship Game and All-Star game in London, marking the US-based three-on-three basketball league’s first games outside of North America.

Confirmed:

  • 2023 Championship Game and All-Star Game will be played at the O2 Arena on 26th August
  • Games to air in the US at 1pm ET live on CBS and Paramount+
  • Playoffs to be staged beforehand at Washington DC’s Capital One Arena on 19th August

Context:

The games will garner more attention for the Big3 outside the league’s home market, with its chief executive, the American rapper Ice Cube, telling The Sun a London-based team with British players is a possibility going forward.

“We have felt the love from our international fans these past five seasons and we are so excited to be taking the Big3 global,” said Ice Cube
