Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Atlanta Braves have named concrete manufacturer Quikrete as their first official jersey patch sponsor.
Contract:
- Quikrete logo to be stitched on the Braves’ jersey sleeve
- Deal to run for the next five seasons
- Brand also gains significant presence at Truist Park and at the team’s spring training facility CoolToday Park, as well as plugins on the Braves Radio Network
Context:
The jersey patch sponsorship marks an expansion of the partnership between the Braves and Quikrete, with the firm already having advertising opportunities for the franchise’s radio station.
Comment:
“With the visibility of this opportunity, it was important for us to engage a trusted partner, industry leader, and a company with a history of supporting the Braves and the Atlanta community,” said Derek Schiller, president and chief executive of the Braves.
Coming next:
The Quikrete jersey patch will be first seen on 19th May when the Braves face the Seattle Mariners.
