IMG Media has named Tim Lacy as the division's executive producer of digital production though he will remain as executive producer for golf highlights website Golfing World.
With over 15 years of experience working within IMG on European Tour Weekly, The Open and the Ryder Cup official films, Lacy first became series producer for Golfing World in 2010.
Lacy's promotion to executive producer of digital production sees him assume responsibility for the overall co-ordination of digital content prior to its delivery for the client.
Digital production is becoming an increasingly important part of our business and we aim to establish ourselves as major players in this space," said IMG Media managing director of sports production worldwide Graham Fry. “This requires a dedicated production focus and Tim, with his experience of running the digital output on Golfing World, is the ideal person to take on this new role."
Lacy added, "IMG is well-placed to create the content for a wide range of sports and federations. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the digital department within IMG."
