WNBA Chicago Sky Home Court to Feature New Action® NitroPanel Portable Maple Floor
(MERCER, WI) Action Floor Systems, LLC, manufacturer of premium permanent and portable hardwood maple and synthetic sports floors, is providing a portable playing surface at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois to serve as home court for the WNBA women’s basketball team, the Chicago Sky.
The Action NitroPanel® system features premium, solid hardwood maple and a unique,interlocking panel system that makes assembly and breakdown quick and easy — essential to meeting the needs of this multi-use facility. Befitting the requirements of professional competition, this high-quality sports floor is available as FIBA-certified and delivers outstanding performance characteristics.
The highly durable surface deck is constructed from MFMA-marked Action LL (long length) northern hard maple sections, with individual boards finger-jointed for stability. Concealed steel assembly brackets, laser-cut and precision-formed, along with four-sided integral tongueand-groove system panel sizing that is CNC machined ensures exact uniformity and panel alignment.
