Another sponsor has signed on with the Leaders in Performance event at Chelsea FC, with Gatorade signing as a corporate partner.

Chelsea performance director Mike Forde, St Etienne sporting director Damien Comolli and Real Madrid's Valter di Salvo have been named as key speakers at the event, dedicated to the business of sporting performance, which will be held at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge in conjunction with the Leaders in Football conference.

Now Gatorade has joined Championship Manager and Pro Zone as corporate sponsors of the event.

"Gatorade has been driving performance since its creation in 1965," said Arif Haq from Gatorade UK. "As the biggest, best and most researched sports drink in the world, Gatorade is already a Leader in performance. We look forward to supporting what promises to be a fantastic event."

Forde, who was appointed performance director for Chelsea in 2007, is involved in all areas of performance relating to the senior squad, including player recruitment, medical, sport science, psychology and performance analysis. Prior to joining Chelsea, he served in a similar position for Bolton Wanderers where, in a five-year spell, the team never finished outside the Premiership top ten and qualified for the Uefa Cup twice.

Comolli has worked at a range of famous clubs, including Monaco, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. He now works as sporting director at St Etienne, the most successful club in the history of French soccer, with 10 French league titles. Di Salvo, meanwhile, joined Real Madrid's staff from Manchester United.
