Ex-Arsenal CEO David Dein on line-up with Blatter and Beckenbauer

David Dein, the former chief executive of English soccer club Arsenal and a key figure in England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup, is one of the speakers at the Soccerex 2009 conference, to be held in South Africa.

Dein joins Fifa president Sepp Blatter, former England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, Fifa executive committee member Franz Beckenbauer and a string of other key figures from the world of soccer at the conference.

Famous clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea, Benfica, Real Madrid and Stuttgart will also attend the Soccerex 2009 Global convention in South Africa. Alongside the clubs are a host of top commercial names, including Adidas, Nike, Siemens, McDonald's and Carlsberg.

Soccerex runs between 28 November and 2 December in Johannesburg, and will feature hundreds of attendees representing internationally-renowned brands and football clubs, all of them are looking to use Soccerex as an opportunity to do business. The event consists of a two-day football festival and a three-day conference and exhibition.
