Tiger Woods: A truly global superstar

Tiger Woods' victory in the Australian Masters in Melbourne secured a US$250,000 cheque but, more importantly to the golfer, means he has won on every continent except Antarctica.
Woods, who has earned more than a billion dollars in prize money, course design fees and sponsorships, hit a final round 68 to claim his seventh title of the year and once again underline his status as the sport's global powerhouse.
