Manchester United stewards charged with GBH on Manchester City fan
17 November 2009 | By Adam Fraser
Two Manchester United stewards have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a Manchester City fan suffered broken legs at Old Trafford in September.
Magistrates heard that the fan had been caught smoking and was ejected from the ground, but, on the way out, was pushed down a flight of stairs and suffered the injuries.
The two stewards were bailed, and the case was adjourned until 11 January 2010.
