Ziggo Sport has acquired the broadcasting rights in the Netherlands to the Uefa Champions League for the next three European soccer seasons.

The Dutch pay-TV channel will show live coverage and highlights packages from European soccer’s premier club competition across its linear and digital platforms. In addition to the Champions League, Ziggo Sport will also broadcast the annual Uefa Super Cup, which pits the winners of the Champions League and the second-tier Europa League against each other at the start of each season.

Ziggo is the Dutch broadcast home of Formula One, English soccer’s Premier League and Spanish soccer’s La Liga.
