Six Nations Rugby has agreed a three-year partnership with video-sharing site YouTube.
The deal will see highlights and exclusive video from the RBS 6 Nations championship made available online to viewers around the world on an official YouTube channel. Users in the UK, Ireland and Italy will have access to additional content, while archive footage of the annual tournament - which features England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy - will also be available.
Six Nations Rugby chief executive John Feehan said: "This is a fantastic development for the sport. The channel will be the place to watch online coverage of the tournament and will provide our viewers with excellent footage from this year's games as well as some of the glorious moments from the past."
Stephen Nuttall, the senior director for sport for YouTube Europe, added: "The Six Nations is one of the world’s great sporting occasions and we’re very proud of this partnership which will bring comprehensive highlights to YouTube users. We intend to build on this to establish YouTube as the online destination for rugby worldwide."
The 2013 RBS 6 Nations began on 2nd February and will run until Saturday 16th March.
