The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) has unveiled health and life insurance company Vitality as the organisation’s official wellness partner for the next two years.
Vitality branding will appear on LED perimeter boards at the national teams’ Millennium Stadium while Vitality branded clothing will be worn by Wales' matchday medical staff.
As part of the agreement, new and existing Vitality members will also have the chance to win tickets, signed merchandise and the opportunity to meet star players from both the men's and women's international rugby teams.
Roger Lewis, chief executive of the WRU said: "Vitality's health and life insurance is a perfect fit for the WRU; their unique products encourage and advise members on the right steps to take for a healthier lifestyle; which is an aim the WRU shares.
"Health insurance is an important part of the game, and we are proud to have found such a major organisation offering a bespoke product to suit our national sport.”
Neville Koopowitz, chief executive of Vitality added: "Our partnership with the WRU is the latest move in our goal of changing the game when it comes to people's health.”
The insurance company also partners English soccer’s Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
